Texas Legal Direct is a project of the Austin Community Law Center, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It was created to expand access to legal services across Texas through remote, accessible, and client-centered representation—especially for communities least served.

We fight lawsuits, challenge improper fees and credit reporting, and bring counterclaims for illegal collection practices. We also file for bankruptcy.
Starting and structuring a business. Entity formation (LLC, corporation, nonprofit), ownership agreements, and basic contracts.
Family-based and humanitarian immigration. Green cards through family, VAWA petitions, U visas, asylum, and related protections.
