What is a 10 Panel Drug Test?
A 10 Panel Drug Test is used to determine if and when you’ve used 10 specific substances. In court cases, it is typically administered as a test of your hair (which can detect drug usage 3-6 months in the past) or a urine test.
How does the test work?
Over a period of time after use, drug metabolites are deposited into the hair as it grows. The test identifies the presence of those metabolites on your hair.

How far back does the test register substance use?

How does the laboratory take my sample?
You will go to the laboratory and provide a sample of your hair. Typically, this is done by cutting small sections of hair from the back of your head. If you don't have head hair, body hair can be used, although the detection window is less precise.
What happens after I’ve submitted my sample?
The lab will conduct a screening for each of the substances listed above. Any positive results will be sent for confirmatory testing. The second test will determine the specific substances identified in the screening and the amount.
